PAYMENT OPTIONS
Medi-Cal
MediCab has been a provider for the State of California for 25 years. We can bill Medi-Cal for any Medi-Cal covered service provided the physician completes a prescription for the trip. MediCab will provide the necessary form to the client for the physician’s signature at the time of visit. With this signed prescription, there is no charge to any Medi-Cal client unless a Share of Cost exists (charges will be at the Medi-Cal rate and applied to your SOC) or the member is enrolled in a Managed Care Network (MCN). If you are enrolled in a MCN, you can still arrange transport and request MediCab as a preferred provider with your insurance company.
Private Pay
MediCab also services many self-pay clients. We are one of the most affordable companies in our line of service. Because of that, we have established ourselves as the go-to company for many of the Outpatient surgery centers and GI procedure clinics in the area. MediCab accepts all forms of payment including: Cash, personal check, and debit/credit card. We use Intuit as our credit card processing company to ensure privacy and safety of the client’s information. Payment can be arranged with the Operations Manager via credit card when the appointment is set up, but is not billed until after the service is performed. We never charge if a trip is cancelled prior to the scheduled pick up. We offer many payment schedule options for clients with multiple trips such as Physical Therapy or dialysis. We are also able to accept payment via Venmo or Paypal. Call for details.
Brokers
We are are currently approved as a provider for MTM who services Kaiser ambulatory clients. As of August, 2023, MTM will also service Kaiser non-ambulatory clients. In addition, we are an approved provider for American Logistics who services the clients enrolled with Anthem in Sacramento and Yuba counties and Molina. We are in the process of becoming a provider for ModivCare who handles both Anthem and California Health & Wellness in Placer County. We do hope to have this option available soon.
